Entrepreneurship journey

An information technology specialist and entrepreneur, Aziza Adam Abdelrahman has twelve years of experience in programming and systems analysis at Sabha University’s Information Technology Centre. She has coordinated several digital and STEM projects and trained more than 500 people in entrepreneurship between 2022 and 2026. She also founded the first community robotics group in southern Libya. The idea for the club emerged in 2020 in response to the lack of centres offering this type of training to children. SheLeads strengthened her marketing and financial management skills.

Company activities

The centre provides training in science, programming, robotics and innovation. It is now registered as a sole proprietorship, has received a grant as well as family or informal support, and generates revenue that has increased by 20–40%. Eight new hires have brought the team to eleven people. The project aims to strengthen the educational ecosystem and create jobs in future-oriented fields. Aziza plans to expand activities across southern regions, support schools and establish the centre’s own digital laboratory.
