Eman Albahshemi

A business administration graduate, Eman Ali Albahshemi is a certified trainer in the Amadeus airline reservation system and holds a diploma in project management. Her experience enabled her to identify gaps in the digital transformation of Libya’s tourism sector. She designed Wajez Travel App to modernise procedures that are still largely handled through traditional methods. The incubation programme helped her strengthen the project’s marketing approach and present its different development stages more clearly. Her main challenge remains securing access to investors and organisations capable of financing the deployment phase.

Wajez Travel App brings travel booking and support services together within a single interface. It aims to create a smoother experience for travellers, facilitate bookings to and from Libya, and contribute to the digitalisation of the country’s tourism sector. The company is registered and employs four people following the creation of two new positions. It is already generating revenue, which has increased by 20% to 40% since joining the programme. The project currently has a working prototype. Eman plans to launch the application gradually and integrate its 14 services in successive stages, in line with her operational strategy.
