Hamood joined the Sandbox business incubator and presented the project “UX Reboot Agency,” where he received support to refine and develop his idea. Through Sandbox, he gained access to trainers and consultants who helped him further develop and work on the project. The incubator provides an intensive learning and training environment, comprehensive training programs, consultations with experienced experts, and fully equipped office spaces. Founded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and implemented by Super-Novae and Medalah, Sandbox aims to support young entrepreneurs by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to transform their ideas into successful businesses.

Entrepreneurship journey

Hamood holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. The idea for his project emerged from his practical experience as a software engineer. During his work, he noticed a significant gap between local digital products and users’ actual needs. He began his career as a web developer before moving into software engineering. One of the main challenges he encountered was the lack of awareness among product owners and development companies about the importance of user experience (UX). Many believed that UX design was only about creating visually attractive interfaces.

His goal is for UX Reboot Agency to improve the user experience of digital products and services in Yemen so that they meet international standards. User experience requires a strong passion for detail and a deep understanding of users. Establishing an agency specialized in this field is not only about providing services, but also about bringing real change to the way digital products are designed and developed. UX Reboot is committed to achieving this goal by offering specialized expertise, user-centered design strategies, and by creating digital experiences that exceed users’ expectations.
