Entrepreneurship journey
The founder of ETA Coding, Serine Ahmed Ebridah, is a pioneer in the field of technology and a passionate advocate for teaching programming. Originally from Sabha, she founded ETA Coding while at university to address the challenges of learning coding in Libya. Frustrated by the lack of accessible and practical training, Serine decided to create a platform that makes coding education effective, engaging, and transformative for young Libyans. What began as informal meetings in her father's office has grown into a structured program offering basic and advanced courses in programming languages such as Laravel, Python, and JavaScript. Drawing on her experience as a former project manager at the Bazra Foundation, where she led several successful technology initiatives, Serine sees ETA Coding as much more than just an educational platform. She aims to create a thriving community of Libyan programmers and innovators, equipped with the skills to create, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the global technology landscape. For Serine, programming is more than a skill—it's a gateway to creativity and problem solving. Through ETA Coding, she aspires to empower young Libyans to shape a better future by transforming their potential into meaningful contributions that can change the world.
Company activities
ETA Coding is a dynamic start-up specializing in programming and entrepreneurship training. Focused on bridging the gap between recent graduates and the job market, the platform offers specialized training courses that enable participants to acquire the technical and professional skills needed to seize opportunities in the fields of technology and telecommunications. ETA Coding's goal is to become Libya's leading center for coding training and career development. By offering accessible courses and creating pathways to real-world experience through internships, such as those offered by Tadawul, ETA Coding empowers everyone to build their future in the technology sector. The platform also plans to expand to disadvantaged regions such as Sabha, so that its impact reaches young people across the country. In the long term, ETA Coding plans to create a collaborative community of programmers who go beyond learning to actively innovate. By involving students in real-world projects, such as mobile app development and software creation, ETA Coding aims to stimulate technological progress and professional growth in Libya, fostering the emergence of a new generation of skilled professionals and innovators.
